Synopsis and Discussion
Cloudy, cool weather has returned to the Triad, Friday, as a backdoor cold front pushed through the region overnight. While particle pollution readings dropped somewhat, behind the front, levels still remain in the lower code YELLOW and upper code GREEN range. The aforementioned front will move back, north of the state, as a warm front, early Saturday, bringing back the warm temperatures. Additionally, particle pollution will climb well into the code YELLOW category, Saturday. The front will evenutally dissipate as high pressure builds down the eastern seasboard, Sunday, leading to cloudy skies and cooler temperatures. Particle pollution will continue code YELLOW, Sunday. A strong cold front will approach the state, Monday. Ahead of the front, pollution buildup will keep particle pollution code YELLOW to start the workweek (GENTRY).
