Fermentation Foundations: A 3-Week Online Series

Welcome to Exploring Fermentation: An Online Series! Get ready to dive into the world of fermentation with us, starting August 13, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. (Eastern Time). Join us as we uncover the secrets of creating delicious fermented foods and beverages for three weeks straight. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned fermenter, this event is perfect for anyone looking to learn and connect with like-minded individuals who care for their gut health. Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to explore the fascinating art of fermentation! This Series is free to join; however, if you would like to join in on the hands-on activities each week, we invite you to get the items needed for each session to follow us as we demonstrate the steps.

Line-up of workshops includes:

August 13, 2025 – Kombucha/Water Kefir

August 20, 2025 – Vegetable Fermentation (Kraut, Kimchi, Curtido)

August 27, 2025 – Yogurt / Milk Kefir

Registered participants will receive the ingredient & supply list of items needed for a successful implementation of the process from the comfort of their home. This is a collaborative work between Forsyth County and Alamance County.
